Taking a dated home into the current decade without losing the classic feel was important to these clients. The house began with a lot of dark paint (think deep royal blue, black, and lots of beige and brown – examples below) and carpet everywhere. Every space in this home was touched with a cosmetic update of some kind from paint, to flooring, hardware, to new bathroom tile, vanities, etc. New custom lighting throughout and custom drapery added the finishing touches that really made this home come to life.
BEFORE... A lot of warm tones and dark colors used throughout
BEFORE.. Carpet and paint throughout needed replacing and refreshing.
AFTER!! New master bedroom furniture, fresh paint, new bedding and custom drapes make for a cozy oasis. A hint of blue in the tray add that finishing touch tying it all together.
AFTER!!Fresh white paint and continuing hardwood floors in a darker stain throughout the home keep it airy and cohesive.
AFTER!! Custom millwork in the dining room painted a rich slate blue gives a unique and elevated feeling.A bubble chandelier is where elegance meets fun.
AFTER!! This powder room was black originally. New vanity, lux wallpaper, a large mirror and new sconces make it feel bold but inviting.
